Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ParcelAtlas (“we”, “us”) collects when you use app.parcelatlas.io, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider).
• Usage information: your plan, the number of rows you export each month, and the searches you choose to save.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and the last four card digits, never your full card number.
• Mail campaign information: if you use the direct-mail feature, the return address, designs and recipient lists you submit, and the status of your orders.
• Device and analytics data: standard server logs and aggregate page-view analytics.

Property data

The parcel, ownership and valuation records shown in ParcelAtlas come from public county assessor and recorder sources. That data is public record, but we recognise it can include personal information such as owner names and mailing addresses. See the contact page to request a review of a specific record.

How we use information

• To provide the service, enforce plan limits and process payments.
• To send account and billing messages (confirmation, password reset, receipts).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (authentication and account data), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and analytics) and, for the mail feature, a print-and-mail partner. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is open. You can delete your account from the account page, which removes your profile and saved searches; billing records may be retained as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can access, correct or delete your information by using your account page or emailing jon@melayish.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor valid requests.

Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes, and notify you of material changes by email.
