Terms of Service

By creating an account or using ParcelAtlas you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

ParcelAtlas lets you search, filter and export property records compiled from public county assessor sources, and optionally order printed mail. Features and plan limits are described on the pricing section of our home page and may change.

Data accuracy

Records are provided “as is”. They may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors, and derived labels such as “absentee owner”, “out-of-state owner” or “vacant” are estimates based on the underlying fields, not statements of fact. Verify anything important with the county before relying on it.

Not a consumer report

ParcelAtlas is not a consumer reporting agency and its data must not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Acceptable use

• Use the data lawfully. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your outreach, including telemarketing, do-not-call, text-message, email and direct-mail rules, and state privacy and solicitation laws.
• Do not harass, threaten or deceive property owners, or misrepresent who you are.
• Do not resell, redistribute or publicly republish bulk exports, or build a competing database from the service.
• Do not scrape the service, bypass plan limits, or interfere with its operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Monthly row limits reset each calendar month and do not roll over.

Mail orders

If you place a direct-mail order, you are responsible for the content of your mailing and your recipient list, and for complying with postal and advertising rules. Orders already sent to print cannot be cancelled.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParcelAtlas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
